Blossom Hill Ceramics offers Clay for a Day, an introductory one-time class where staff teach wheel and hand-building techniques. The program also offers a Beginner Class Series, Intermediate/Advanced weekly classes, free workshops every quarter, open studio time, and a porcelain-only studio available for a minimal add-on cost to membership. Membership includes clay, glaze, firings, workshops, and full use of the studio.

About the provider
Blossom Hill Ceramics has a 55 year history and lists its mission as “Nurturing creativity and the passion for clay.” The studio equipment includes 40+ wheels, 50+ high fire and mid fire dipping glazes, a large dedicated handbuilding room with multiple slab rollers and 100s of tools, forms and stamps, three 40 cubic cubic foot gas kilns, three electric kilns, a Raku kiln, a spray booth, and 20+ clays.
Membership includes clay, glaze, firings, workshops, and full use of the studio. 16 of 20 high and midfire clays are included with membership at no added cost. Members and students can sign up for open studio time. Membership registration generally takes at least a few business days to complete. Boarded pots are removed from the bat and placed on a board with plastic 3 times per day, 7 days a week.
