GK Music Lessons and Band Programs

GK Music Lessons and Band Programs offers private music lessons in guitar, piano, voice, drums, bass, strings, brass, and woodwinds, as well as instruction in songwriting, lyric composition, and recording. The private lesson program is the main focus and starting point for all students, with teachers available seven days a week for lessons at the GK Music facility or in the student’s home, plus a free online consultation. Band programs run in Summer Band and Winter Band formats and focus on group performance and creativity.

• Bass Lessons — Covers slapping, tapping and groove; from Funk to Metal and in between
• String Lessons — Supports string instruments such as violin and preparation for local community orchestras
• Brass Lessons — Trumpet, Trombone and Tuba; skills for band programs, orchestras and funk/rock bands
• Woodwind Lessons — Woodwind instruction aimed at preparing students for scholarships, teaching, or pro playing
• Songwriting Instruction — Covers song analysis, composition and arranging to help students compose their own music
• Lyric Composition Instruction — Guidance through lyric writing using song analysis and stated concepts to overcome writer’s block
• Recording Instruction — Students learn recording process from scratch tracks to final product with GK Music instructors
