Children’s Art and Nature Camps

Children’s Art and Nature Camps are part of a program that includes artist talks, guided hikes, and live performances. The camps take place alongside other children’s art and nature activities that are offered as part of the same program.

• Ages: 5–12 years old

The camps are offered by an organization whose story began in 1997, when collectors Rene and Veronica di Rosa opened their private collection to the public. The organization maintains what it describes as the world’s foremost collection of contemporary art from Northern California, with exhibitions that rotate throughout the year. Its mission states that it is dedicated to the cultivation of Northern California art past, present, and future, and that through ongoing exhibitions and educational programming it educates and inspires audiences with stories of Northern California’s unique arts ecosystem. The organization states that it is located on the traditional lands of the Patwin, Wappo, and Coast Miwok Peoples and that it is committed to working with all Indigenous Peoples and to learning from them.
