Educational Dyslexia Instruction Tutoring

Educational Dyslexia Instruction Tutoring uses the Barton Reading and Spelling System in one-on-one sessions. The program also includes work on remediating auditory perception deficits using a diagnostic teaching approach and personalized, customized learning plans that are flexible. Instruction is based on research-based, proven facts and focuses on supporting children with diverse learning needs in an office environment centered on positivity, confidence, and trust.

The leadership team includes Kiersten Giltner, Reyanna Provorse as a teacher and remediator, and Sierra as a teacher. Staff credentials include certification in Dyslexia through the Dyslexia Training Institute and multiple levels of Barton Tutor certification, including Certified Barton Tutor, Certified Barton Tutor at the Advanced Level, and Certified Barton Tutor at the Masters Level. Additional staff qualifications include roles as a Dyslexia and Reading Specialist, Teachers Assistant, and Teachers Aid for over 5 years, along with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development, an A.S in Child and Family Studies, a B.A in the Interdisciplinary Track of Liberal Studies, and an A.S in Early Childhood Education (2025). The program has specialized experience with children with a variety of learning disabilities and differences.
