Image Dance Studio offers classes in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Acro Dance, along with Competition Teams and Performance Teams. The studio also offers adult classes, including Beginning Hip Hop and Beginning/Intermediate-Advance Heels, as well as a Diva Heels Party and a Master Class for the Intermediate-Advance Dancer.

Image Dance Studio has been in the Napa community since 2007 and is celebrating its 15-year anniversary as a family dance studio. It operates under the direction of Christa Gonzales, who has led the studio since 2007. Instructors have B.A. degrees in Dance and Theater and have experience in dance companies, local high school dance or cheer teams, semi-pro cheerleading teams, Broadway performances, dancing for Six Flags Animal Kingdom, and working as back-up dancers for performers such as Pitbull and Carlos Santana. Some instructors have appeared on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” and the Fox television show “So You Think You Can Dance.”
The program states that it strives to promote confidence and self-esteem within students and offers classes for beginning through more advanced dancers. It describes itself as a professional dance studio with a dance curriculum program that includes building confidence and skills, learning about dance history, building friendships, and teaching a love of dance. Image Dance Studio offers a diverse schedule of classes for different levels, including recreational, competitive, performance, and professional, and now offers adult dance classes on a drop-in basis with no commitment needed. The studio also offers a Diva Heels Party experience that includes beginning heels technique, a routine, a photo booth, a polaroid camera, personalized tank tops, and gift bags, as well as master classes with guest teachers or choreographers in the dance industry once or twice a month and Image Dance Store merchandise.
Image Dance Studio is known for high energy, creative choreography, and challenging classes, and has received 1st place and overall scores at dance competitions such as Showstoppers, Headliners, Rainbow Dance, Masquerade, and Starbound. The studio has performed at local and regional events including “Harvest Goes Broadway,” “NVLA Choir Show,” “The Napa Christmas Parade,” “Distinguish Young Women Program,” “American Canyon High School Performing Arts Fundraiser,” Napa Retirement Home, the “North Bay Rattlers Halftime Show,” and as back-up dancers for the Disneyland Parade, and it describes itself as a performing studio in the Napa Valley community.
