The City of Newport Beach Junior Lifeguard Program is an ocean-based program for youth ages 9 to 15. It centers on ocean skill building, physical fitness, lifeguarding skills, and recognizing potentially hazardous conditions. The program is a 7-week program held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
