Endless Sun Surf School offers private surf lessons, small group surf lessons, and big group surf lessons, along with birthday parties, team events, corporate groups, bachelor and bachelorette events, and Girl Scouts events. The program also runs a range of classes and camps, including a Longboard Clinic, Adult Group Surf Lesson, Women's Surf Class, weekday surf classes, an Intermediate Surf Class, a Girls Surf Team, and several Summer Surf Camp options such as Surf Camp, Surf & Boogie, Boogie Board, and All Day Surf Camp.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Lessons are offered every day, 365 days a year, with classes and camps available on weekdays and weekends; Summer Surf Camps run Monday–Friday from 6/6–8/16, 2026, with options ranging from 2 to 7 hours per day.
Since 1963, Endless Sun Surf School has taught thousands of people how to surf. The school is described as Newport's original surf school and has been voted Best Surf Camp in Orange County for the past six years, as seen in Parenting OC Magazine. Tim and Amy Reda lead the program as professional longboard surfers with over 20 years of competitive surfing experience. All teachers are CPR-certified and are WSL professional surfers, and full wetsuits and surfboards for all sizes are provided and included in the price, except that Longboard Clinic students must bring their own longboards. Group lessons are for private groups only and do not include outside people, and the Longboard Clinic is for kids and adults who can already catch their own waves and surf on their own, with students divided into smaller groups by age, preference, and skill level. The Women's Surf Class is designed by a female professional surfer.
The Longboard Clinic meets on January 31, 2026, from 9:00am–11:00am. The Adult Group Lesson meets on Sundays from 8:30–10:00am, and the Women's Surf Class meets on Saturdays from 8:30–10:00am. The Monday surf class runs from 4:00pm–5:30pm, Mavericks surf on Tuesdays from 2:40pm–4:40pm, Soul Surfers on Wednesdays from 1:05pm–3:05pm, Friday surf class on Fridays from 4:00pm–5:30pm, and a Wednesday Surf Class from 1:30–3:00pm. The Intermediate Surf Class meets on Tuesdays from 3:10–4:40pm, and the Girls Surf Team meets on Thursdays from 3:10pm–4:30pm.
