Oakwood Summer Programs
Secondary Campus, 11600 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601-3015
About
Oakwood Summer Programs offers on-campus summer options under the umbrella of Oakwood School. Students from everywhere are welcome, and families may enroll their own child only. Space is limited and all plans are subject to change, and if a program is full, families may join the waiting list.
• Schedule: No programs are scheduled on June 19 or July 3 in recognition of the Juneteenth and Fourth of July holidays.
• Price: Tuition assistance is available. Lunch is included in the tuition for all full-day, on-campus programs.
Oakwood School was founded in 1951 by parents who wanted an educational experience that was rich in the arts, sciences, and humanities and challenging to students’ creative, intellectual, and physical capacities. They wanted a learning community that would foster independence of thought, intellectual integrity, and sensitivity to the needs of others, and prepare students for participation in a democratic society.
All programs must have a minimum of 6 students enrolled to run, and programs with low enrollment may be cancelled. It may be possible to open additional sessions or cohorts if there is sufficient interest. Contact Marlene Huitink or Pam Tiangco to receive a coupon code, and contact Joanie Pimentel or Shane Finch with any Oakwood Summer Programs questions.
Oakwood School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Oakwood School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
