USATF Junior Olympic Track & Field

USATF Junior Olympic Track & Field is part of the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships. Athletes must qualify to register for the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships, and all high school, youth, and club athletes can qualify by meeting the event’s requirements. Participants must first compete and qualify in Association Championships, then Regional Championships, finishing in the top 5 to advance to the National Championships.

USA Track & Field (USATF) is the National Governing Body for track and field, long distance running, and race walking in the United States. USA Track & Field states that it drives competitive excellence and popular engagement in the sport in a safe environment for all. USATF establishes grassroots programs, such as the Junior Olympics, to help develop the future stars of the sport.
