Camp Gan Israel is part of the Chabad Jewish Center of Novato, founded in 2012 by Rabbi Menachem Landa and his wife Adina, inspired by the teachings and legacy of The Lubavitcher Rebbe. The camp is led by Rabbi Menachem Landa and Mrs. Adina Landa, who serve as co-directors. The program is motivated by a profound love for every Jew and a boundless optimism, offering programs and services to educate, inspire, and uplift people from all walks of life with unconditional love and acceptance. It caters to Jewish children located throughout Marin County. In 2018, Chabad of Novato was voted by the Jewish Weekly (the J) as the top choice for synagogue life in the North Bay for innovative programming and as the most charitable organization in the North Bay. Experienced staff work to develop skills, confidence, and a sense of fair play within each child.
