About

The Bay Area Wildcats Youth Basketball Program offers activities focused on basketball and leadership. Participants engage in learning the fundamental skills of basketball while also developing leadership qualities.

• Ages: 8–17 years old
• Schedule: Season runs from February through July, with twice-a-month games and twice-a-week practices.
• Price: $520 every other month for the season, $120 fee for the uniform and shooting shirt
• Location: Oakland High School

The program is led by Orlando Watkins, the Executive Director, and Demetrius Roquemore, the President. It participates in the AAU basketball program and is involved in the 3Stripes Circuit and Adidas Gold Circuit. The mission of the Bay Area Wildcats is to teach student-athletes the fundamental skills of basketball while focusing on building confidence and instilling life lessons and values such as character, work ethic, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Wilson's parents have praised the program, stating it has been their best experience due to the supportive learning environment created by the organization.
