East Bay Flag Football (EBFF) is a California nonprofit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. EBFF began in 2013 as a community-built non-profit and is unifying Alameda and Oakland into one nonprofit league focused on accessibility, community, and expanding opportunities for all youth. The program includes East Bay NFL Flag as an official part of East Bay Flag Football. Its mission is to create a safe, fun, high-energy flag football program where East Bay kids can learn the game, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. The program highlights investment in Girls Flag with flexible teams and age divisions. It operates as a program focused on safety, coaching quality, fairness, scholarships, and giving every child the chance to play, learn, and grow. Girls Flag Training in Oakland is led by pro player Kaela Lee. The leadership team includes Peter Ferioli, current owner and operator of East Bay NFL Flag and former Executive Director of East Bay Flag Football. Members of the Board of Directors receive no compensation. Using player registration fees, EBFF has donated more than $34,000 to local schools, community groups, and charitable organizations.
