Park’n It Day Camp and Leaders-in-Training Program includes activities such as learning about park ecology, playing games, making art projects, going fishing, hiking, swimming, and taking field trips to other parks. The program also includes team-building and training, assisting recreation leaders in arts and crafts, helping prepare, serve, and clean up after meals, leading field games, helping supervise swimming, helping manage campers, and helping to set up and clean up camp. Park’n It Day Camp is a traditional summer day camp program that takes place Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.

• Ages: 5–17 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, in one-week sessions throughout June and July 2026
• Price: Park’n It Day Camp fee: $200 (non-res. $220). Leaders-in-Training course: $50 for one week, with a limited number of $30 scholarships available.

Camps feature hands-on experiences under the care of a highly-trained staff of recreation leaders, lifeguards, and naturalists. Park’n It Day Camp is part of the Healthy Parks Healthy People initiative, which states that when kids engage in active outdoor recreation in parks, they grow into healthy and eco-literate adults who care about parks and the environment. Financial aid is available for Park’n It Day Camp and is not available for online registrations. The Leaders-in-Training program is for ages 13 to 17 and includes job skills training, 35 community hours and community service hours, an evaluation, and constructive skills for resume writing and job seeking, and it can position participants for future camp employment. The leadership team includes Stewart Reid, Recreation Coordinator.
