Orinda Ballet Academy

Orinda Ballet Academy offers activities in the performing arts and fitness. The program is held at the Orinda Community Center, where students participate in classical ballet training.

The Academy was established in 2009 and is led by Artistic Director Patricia Tomlinson. Its mission is to provide quality classical ballet training from Pre-Ballet through Advanced/Pre-Professional levels. Unique features of the program include an annual winter production called 'A Sweet Dream Nutcracker' and spring term story ballet productions such as 'Coppelia,' 'The Sleeping Beauty,' 'Cinderella's Ball,' 'Swan Lake,' 'Alice in Wonderland,' 'Peter Pan,' and 'The Firebird.'
