Head Instructor Professor Muny Munoz is a Brazilian jiujitsu black belt with over 18 years of experience on the mats. He earned his black belt under Stephanie Moon and Adam Dunkel, who are described as well-respected jiujitsu instructors and competitors in the Bay Area. As a seasoned competitor and coach, Professor Muny has earned multiple gold medals in world tournaments. The program notes that instructors are highly skilled and experienced martial artists with a passion for teaching.

For gi classes, students are asked to bring a clean jiujitsu gi (kimono) and belt, and a rash guard or compression shirt is recommended under the gi. Students are also asked to remove all jewelry, keep nails trimmed, and maintain good hygiene, and loaner gis may be available for the first class if arranged ahead. The program also highlights an exclusive offer for new and returning students that includes a free gi with advance-paid memberships.
