Sleepy Hollow Legends Swim Team is a competitive swim team where swimmers take part in swim practices, swim meets, and team picture day. The program also includes the Mini Legend pre-team swim program, which serves as a bridge between a learn-to-swim program and the competitive swim team for children who already have basic swimming skills and meet minimum qualifications. Swim team social activities include a parent party and swim team auction, a 10 & Under social event, Dragon Ball, Legend Pride Week (pre-OMPA), a post-OMPA dinner, and an awards ceremony.
• Ages: 4–18 years old
The Sleepy Hollow Legends Swim Team is a competitive team for swimmers ages 4 to 18, with a goal of providing a positive, competitive environment, fostering Legend Pride, and preparing swimmers for season-ending championship meets. Sleepy Hollow provides stroke technique training, and the Mini Legends program is a developmental pre-team option for kids ages 4–6 who have already mastered basic swimming skills and meet the minimum qualifications. Sleepy Hollow Swim & Tennis Club, which hosts the team, is a family-based swim and tennis club where members have access to year round swimming, tennis, and social gatherings in a newly renovated state-of-the-art facility that includes two pools (an 8-lane competition pool and a recreational pool) and 11 tennis courts. The club competes in the nationally recognized Orinda-Moraga Pools Association league, and the swim team is active in this competitive OMPA league, while the club also participates in both adult and youth USTA tennis leagues. The club’s mission is to be a community of members dedicated to providing excellent recreational opportunities in a fun environment that fosters legendary pride and spirit.
