Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center

Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center offers equine-assisted activities and therapies, including therapeutic horseback riding, horsemanship, and Adaptive Riding. The program also provides Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pediatric Therapeutic Services, and ground work with veterans, along with community support and training through the training of volunteers.

Adaptive Riding at Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center is coached and supported by PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors. The organization is a non-profit 501(c)3 registered charity. Its mission is to enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities, and veterans of all theaters, through high quality programs of equine-assisted activities and therapies, including therapeutic horseback riding, Physical and Occupational Therapy, horsemanship and related activities. The center offers both Therapeutic Riding and Pediatric Therapy Services, includes ground work with veterans to support building a bond of strength and compassion between human and horse, and practices conscientious herd management. Its stated values include commitment to a high standard of safety, continuing education, inclusivity, community engagement, and respect and care for the herd as therapeutic partners.
