Crown City Dance Youth Dance Programs offers kids classes in ballroom dance, latin dance, ballet, hip hop, tap, swing dancing, Salsa, Argentine Tango, Bachata, West Coast Swing, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. Group classes are offered for both kids and adults.

Crown City Dance was founded in Pasadena in 2002. In 2022, Danielle O'Neill partnered with Forrest Walsh to bring Crown City Dance to life as an independent studio, and they serve as Studio Co-Owners. The studio’s stated mission is “Changing People’s Lives Through Dance.”
Kids and adults at the studio can take part in a Competition Team that travels to local and national ballroom competitions, as well as studio trips and outings to local and international dance events. The studio regularly organizes social outings to Swing, Salsa, and Argentine Tango events around Los Angeles and plans international trips to destinations such as Slovenia, Cuba, Argentina, Austria, and London for workshops, dance events, and cultural experiences. It also hosts a Semi-Annual Vintage Tea Party, a Valentine’s Day Speakeasy Party, an Annual Holiday Ball, and a six-week Festival Season held twice a year with themed Thursday night parties, raffles, special activities, and a studio “graduation.”
Instructor Jilmil has been classically training in dance for 18 years and has an intensive background in the Lucknow gharana of Kathak, a north Indian classical dance. Instructor Ani has 16 years of experience as a ballroom dancer and 2 years as a teacher. Instructor Michael holds a BFA from The New School and an MA from NYU and is an educator specializing in teaching Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Ballroom, and has mounted full productions across the country.
