Discovery Days Preschool offers STEM activities, art, music, movement, Spanish, yoga, and a play-based curriculum. Children take part in outdoor play in a garden, mud kitchen, bike paths, play structures, and a sandbox with sensory experiences, including messy sensory activities in the mud kitchen and sandbox and clambering on climbers. The program also includes stories and hands-on exploration, with a Spanish Immersion program that uses an immersive Spanish environment during play, routines, stories, music, and hands-on exploration.

Discovery Days Preschool is guided by Reggio and Montessori principles and uses Reggio-inspired spaces and Reggio- and Montessori-inspired classrooms. The learning environments are described as a brand-new, sparkling clean haven, filled with natural light and adorned with murals, and children are in small groups with personalized attention and a focus on social-emotional development. Children venture outside every day for up to 4 hours to explore a creek, mud, and sand. The program includes a Spanish Immersion option available to all age groups in a pilot phase and is expected to officially launch for the 2026–2027 school year.
Discovery Days Preschool is led by wife-and-husband team Lisa and Dione Scott and is described as family-owned care. All staff hold CPR certifications. The program states its mission as “Building Confidence, Empathy, Creativity, & A Lifelong Love Of Learning.”
The preschool and childcare center notes access controls and security cameras, secure fences surrounding playgrounds, air purifiers in classrooms, and professional cleaners who scrub and sanitize every surface and space daily. It offers workshops and regular social family events that bring the community together and supports local families through its Indexed Tuition program.
