Piedmont Soccer Club offers both competitive soccer and recreational soccer. Players take part in organized soccer activities through these two program tracks.

Founded in 1976, Piedmont Soccer Club is incorporated as a California Non-profit Public Benefits 501(c)(3) corporation. The club is volunteer-run and volunteer-led, with members of the PSC Board and parents helping to run the program. It is the largest sports club based in Piedmont, with over 800 children registered yearly in both competitive and recreational programming. Piedmont Soccer Club provides competitive and recreational soccer for kids in Piedmont, Oakland, and surrounding communities, and serves Piedmont and surrounding communities as a community-focused club.

The club’s mission is providing a pathway for athletes of all ages and levels to grow through soccer. Its approach to play emphasizes a high intensity, possession-based style built on finding gaps between the lines through individual skill, movement off the ball, and combination play in order to score more goals. The club highlights core values summarized as ELEVATE: Excellence, Leadership, Education, Visionary, Accountability, Teamwork, and Empower. It identifies key qualities of a player as communication, game insight, optimal technique, creativity, game-related fitness, effort, and focus.

The U6 Age Group Coordinator and the U9–U19 Age Group Coordinator roles are listed as vacant.
