Alpine Hills has a rich history, having been converted into a tennis and swimming club in 1958 by tennis pro Sandy MacKay. The club is a non-profit proprietary club with 750 members and is recognized for its excellence, recently earning the Exceptional Status with Distinguished Clubs. Additionally, Alpine Hills is actively involved in the community as a member of PASA (Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics), a youth swim program.
