Mountain Camp Woodside

Mountain Camp Woodside offers a co-ed summer day camp for grades K-10 and a co-ed sleep-away, resident camp for grades 2nd-10th. It also offers a Counselor in Training (CIT) program for campers entering 9th and 10th grade, available for both day and overnight campers. Additional activities include swimming lessons up to 5th grade, Weekly Dress-Up Themes each Wednesday, and TGIS – “Saturday” Overnight for Cubs entering 1st grade, which is unavailable this summer.

About the provider

Mountain Camp Woodside is in its 50th summer of friendship, adventure, fun, and learning. It is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps. The camp says it inspires campers to try new activities, build independence, make friends, and take home memories that will last a lifetime.

• Swimming lessons — Up to 5th grade · Taught daily after camp is over; start around 4:20 or 4:45pm, or for Cub Campers around 3:25 or 3:50pm · $300–$350 per week · Semi-private lessons; Cub Swimming Lessons are $350/week.
• Weekly Dress-Up Themes — Each Wednesday · Theme day for camp; participation is optional.
• TGIS – “SATURDAY” OVERNIGHT (DAY CAMP ONLY) — Cubs entering 1st grade · Saturday at 4pm; breakfast the next morning; pick-up starts at 10:15am · Unavailable this summer.
