Redondo Beach Youth Basketball offers a youth basketball league for boys and girls in grades K-12. The program teaches the fundamentals of basketball and includes sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, teamwork, and fun.

About the provider
The program has been running since 1974. Since then, it has included players from Redondo Beach and nearby cities such as El Segundo, Gardena, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Lawndale, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula, with players from those neighboring cities making up about 20% of the league.
Registration tiers stated: Tier One opens September 1, 2026 for Redondo Beach residents; Tier Two opens September 15, 2026 for returning 2025–2026 RBYB players and eligible Redondo Beach residents; Tier Three opens September 29, 2026 for all eligible players, subject to available space within each division. Registration does not guarantee placement if a division reaches capacity.
