About
Music Rhapsody offers classes that include singing, dance, percussion, recorder, piano, sax, flute, and musical theater. The program is based on the Orff Schulwerk teaching approach and uses beautiful and diverse songs, singable phrases, repetition, instruments, puppets, and visuals. It offers a comprehensive and continuous schedule of music classes from babies to adults and includes the Simply Music Piano method, which temporarily delays reading and focuses on playing by immersing students in great-sounding music immediately.

Music Rhapsody was established in 1983. The program was developed by internationally recognized music educator Lynn Kleiner, who has been teaching since 1978 and is the founder of Music Rhapsody, a music school teaching thousands of children ranging from infants through teens in daycares, preschools, elementary schools, and Music Rhapsody centers since 1983. The program addresses each age and stage of childhood development and acknowledges and values the input and creativity of each child, and it provides programs that offer continuity from birth through all ages of adulthood.
The leadership team includes founder Lynn Kleiner and additional team members Zachary Kenefick, Shuwen Zhao, Sharon Ledesma, Adrienne Henze, Harold Rodriguez, Erin Guiltner, and Hsin-Hua Wang. Lynn’s instrument and DVD kits for children have received the Oppenheim Award and the Dove Award and are recommended by the National Parenting Association, and her books and CDs have won the Creative Child Award, including Creative Child Magazine’s 2019 Book of the Year Award for Holiday Songs and Winter Adventures. Music Rhapsody products have earned acclaim from Creative Child Magazine, Dove Foundation, National Parenting Center, Oppenheim Best Toy Awards, and the iParenting Media Awards, with endorsements from Kids First, REMO, and Alfred Publishing, and Lynn has a line of children’s percussion instruments in partnership with REMO.
