Sailing Summer Camps (King Harbor Youth Foundation) offers sailing instruction for kids through Learn to Sail programs and summer camp sessions. The program includes activities such as sailing on Optimists (Optis), FJs, and Martin 242s, and some camps also include paddleboarding. The organization also runs programs in competitive racing and community outreach for children 8 years of age and up.

King Harbor Youth Foundation is a non-profit created to promote youth sailing in Southern California and was founded in 1982. It is funded by individual contributions, program fees, and fundraisers. All of the coaching staff has extensive experience in boating and sailing, as well as training in safety and first aid. The mission of the organization is to provide access to the sport of sailing to local girls and boys of all backgrounds, in order to build self-esteem, teamwork and a respect for the environment. The foundation is home to high school race teams from Redondo Union High School, Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, South Torrance High School, and Rolling Hills Preparatory School in San Pedro, and these teams compete in the Pacific Coast Interscholastic Sailing Association (PCISA) series.
