The Music Box offers private lessons for all ages and all levels in piano, voice, guitar, strings, brass, winds, conducting, and more. It also offers workshops such as jam sessions, group classes, masterclasses, adult student workshops, performance workshops, and other special events. Classical Ensembles, Jazz Combos, Rock Bands, and Other Ensembles meet in weekly coaching sessions and are formed by age, level, and interest.
Programs
- Private Lessons — All ages; students of all levels and musical preferences · $45 per session · One-on-one lessons in piano, voice, guitar, strings, brass, winds, conducting, and more.
- Workshops — $35 · Jam Sessions, group classes, masterclasses, adult student workshops, performance workshops, and other special events.
- Kid's Choir — Grades 2nd-8th · Once a week for one hour, usually starting at or after 5:30 p.m.; days to be determined · Currently unavailable 1/2024.
- Classical Ensembles — Weekly coaching sessions; scheduled by group · $140 per month · Groups are formed with student musicians grouped together by age, level, and interest.
- Jazz Combos — Weekly coaching sessions; scheduled by group · $140 per month · Groups are formed with student musicians grouped together by age, level, and interest.
- Rock Bands — Weekly coaching sessions; scheduled by group · $140 per month · Groups are formed with student musicians grouped together by age, level, and interest.
- Other Ensembles — Weekly coaching sessions; scheduled by group · $140 per month · Groups are formed with student musicians grouped together by age, level, and interest.

About the provider
The Music Box says it inspires and engages students of all levels, ages, and musical preferences. Some instructors have degrees, awards, and other notable credits, and the staff has years of experience. The program serves the local beach communities as well as the greater Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Private lessons are one-on-one. Instructors and coaches have varying rates. Current students may pay by credit card over the phone or in person, cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle.
