St. Matthew Music Camps & Vacation Bible School

St. Matthew Music Camps & Vacation Bible School offers Little Lights - Little Music Explorers, Vibrant Voices - Children’s Chorus, Youth Chorus Camp, Beginners Band Camp, Intermediate & Advanced Concert Band Camp, High School & College Mentors, and Morning Summer VBS Camp by St. Matthew Lutheran Church - Rainforest Falls. Activities listed include morning VBS camp, chorus camp, small ensembles, semi-private lessons, group rehearsals, music theory and notation, recreational activities, and several opportunities to perform with groups on the last day.

Programs

• Little Lights - Little Music Explorers — Campers entering TK*-1st grades (*must be potty trained) · 9am-5pm; afternoon-only 1pm-5pm · $199–$234 · No experience required. All-day option includes morning VBS camp, lunch, and chorus camp. Afternoon-only option includes optional paid lunch.
• Vibrant Voices - Children’s Chorus — Campers entering 2nd-4th grades · 9am-5pm; afternoon-only 1pm-5pm · $199–$234 · No experience required. All-day option includes morning VBS camp, lunch, and chorus camp. Afternoon-only option includes optional paid lunch.
• Youth Chorus Camp — Entering 5th grade through 6th grade; entering minimum 6th grade for all chorus option; entering minimum 5th grade for small ensembles; afternoon-only minimum 5th grade · 9am-5pm; 11am-5pm; 1pm-5pm · $199–$249 · No experience required. VBS option, all chorus option, small ensembles option, and afternoon-only option available. Small ensembles requires minimum 1 year on instrument.
• Beginners Band Camp — Entering 5th or 6th grade; all-day chorus option minimum 6th grade; afternoon-only minimum 4th grade · 9am-5pm; 11am-5pm; 1pm-5pm · $199–$249 · For campers learning a wind instrument for the first time. Includes semi-private lessons, group rehearsals, music theory and notation, and recreational activities.
• Intermediate & Advanced Concert Band Camp — Entering 5th grade through college · 11am-5pm; 1pm-5pm · $199–$249 · For wind instrument and percussion players. Minimum 1 year experience on instrument. On the last day, campers have several opportunities to perform with their groups.
• High School & College Mentors — High school and college-aged students · 9am-5:30pm · $0–$50 · Requires minimum 2 years experience on instrument, an application, a meeting with the director, and 1-2 trainings before camp. Fingerprinting required for mentors aged 18 or older.
• Morning Summer VBS Camp by St. Matthew Lutheran Church - Rainforest Falls — Ages 3 thru incoming 6th grade (must be potty trained) · 9am-12pm/noon · $50 · Includes t-shirt and snack. Lunch only available to campers also enrolled in an afternoon.
