It is a non-profit ministry of Centennial United Methodist Church and has been serving families for over four decades.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–2:00 pm

Centennial Christian Preschool states that its program is designed to equip children with key readiness skills for kindergarten success. The program emphasizes Christian values throughout the curriculum and states that it strives to reflect the love of God in all activities. It celebrates each child as a unique, independent learner, and teachers use creative and engaging teaching methods to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Morning preschool classes require parent participation every other week, and participating family members in the morning classes attend at the school once every other week. All families are required to volunteer twelve additional hours per year, per child to help maintain the school, and there are two mandatory meetings that at least one parent is required to attend. The school holds several fundraisers per year to maintain reasonable tuition rates and updated equipment, and it operates with non-profit status.

Centennial Christian Preschool describes its mission as being dedicated to nurturing the growth of the whole child—socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and spiritually—within a warm and welcoming Christian environment. The program has been nurturing hearts and inspiring minds for over 45 years. The preschool is a non-profit ministry of Centennial United Methodist Church.

The leadership team includes Ms. Brie, Director and Teacher; Ms. Annie, Preschool Teacher; Ms. Bridget, Preschool Teacher; and Ms. Elayna, Preschool Teacher. Having earned a BA in Child Development, Brie Otto has always been passionate about working with children. One testimonial from Ms. Brie states, “I am so fortunate to be part of the close knit community as both a parent and now as a teacher. We work as a team to support every child and their family.”

Community connections include multiple staff members who were born and raised in the Sacramento area, particularly in the Hollywood Park and Land Park communities. Ms. Annie has been part of the Land Park/Hollywood Park community most of her life, and her grandparents were members of Centennial United Methodist Church for over 20 years, with her younger sister attending Centennial Pre-School. All four of Ms. Bridget’s children attended Centennial Christian Preschool, and Ms. Elayna was born and raised in Sacramento and attended Centennial Christian Preschool herself.
