St. Francis Summer Programs include competitive sports camps, STEM design experiences, theater, enrichment, and high school prep courses such as Geometry, Chemistry, and a College Application & Essay Workshop. Students can also attend Math and English Summer Remediation, as well as sports options like Basketball Camp, Soccer Camps including a Junior Soccer Camp, Softball Camp, Flag Football Camp, Indoor Soccer Camp, and Volleyball Camps. Basketball Camp focuses on fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, rebounding, and shooting, while Junior Soccer Camp emphasizes warm-up, trapping, dribbling, passing, shooting, small-sided games, and stretching.

The Geometry course runs for six weeks from June 8 to July 17, with Session 1 from June 8–26 and Session 2 from June 29–July 17, and meets from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm; students may take Session 1, Session 2, or all six weeks. The Chemistry course follows the same June 8–July 17 six-week structure, with identical session dates and 8:00 am–1:00 pm meeting time, and also allows enrollment in Session 1, Session 2, or all six weeks. The Geometry course continues to review basic Algebra skills while focusing on common core standards for Geometry, including geometric proofs, properties of parallel and perpendicular lines, congruent triangles, basic properties of two- and three-dimensional figures including area and volume, similarity and proportions, basic trigonometric functions, and coordinate Geometry, and it requires a Texas Instruments TI-84 plus graphing calculator and the textbook “Geometry: Concepts and Connections” by Larson and Battaglia 2025 (979-8-88802-870-4). The Chemistry course stresses basic problem-solving techniques and understanding major theories in chemistry through written and laboratory work, with time equivalent to one period a week spent in the laboratory. The Geometry course is UC/CSU A–G approved for c Mathematics and NCAA approved, and the Chemistry course is UC A–G approved for d Laboratory Science and NCAA approved.
The College Application & Essay Workshop runs June 8–12 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is taught by St. Francis College Advisors in a small class setting and covers developing an individualized college application list, creating a draft of the college essay and/or UC Personal Insight Questions, navigating the college application process at St. Francis High School, understanding the Common Application, UC, CSU, and other university applications, and guidance on every stage of the college admissions process including scholarship search and applications. Math Summer Remediation runs Session 2 from June 29–July 17 on Monday and Wednesday afternoons in person, and students will be required to attend campus to complete their assignment, with the in-person schedule determined by Mrs. Symkowick and students/families; students need regular access to their Chromebook and calculator. English Summer Remediation has Session 1 from June 8–26 on Tuesday and Thursday mornings online and Session 2 from June 29–July 17 on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in person, and a note states this course meets six weeks from June 8–July 17 and students may take Session 1, Session 2, or all six weeks; students need regular access to their Chromebook and assigned reading.
Basketball Camp is a youth basketball summer camp in Sacramento open to girls entering 4th through 9th grades, runs June 8–12, 2026 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and requires basketball shoes. The camp teaches fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, rebounding, and shooting, includes themed days, and features competitive games on Friday, which parents are welcome to watch starting at 9:00 am. Junior Soccer Camp is geared toward younger soccer players who are rising 1st–6th graders and provides the chance to become familiar with the St. Francis soccer program and to train in individual soccer techniques on the ball as well as striking and tactical awareness, emphasizing warm-up, trapping, dribbling, passing, shooting, small-sided games, and stretching. Soccer Camps are led by varsity head coach Maryclaire Robinson, who is a St. Francis alumna and former UC Davis women's soccer coach.
