Elev8 After School Program and Youth Sports

Elev8 After School Program and Youth Sports offers an after school program that runs in the afternoons. The program includes youth sports activities such as basketball. It is part of a broader set of activities that also include early care and education, worship and community, and biblical preaching and teaching.

• Schedule: Administration office hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM; community center (gym) hours Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM; early care and education Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; Elev8 After School Program Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

The program is connected with leadership from Majors Jan and Peter Pemberton. It operates within The Salvation Army, whose mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. The organization states that it offers selfless and compassionate service every day, strives to reach the community through relevant and compassionate service, and has ministries that help meet the spiritual needs of the community. It uses the phrase “Doing the Most Good®” and notes that the greatest need at this time is support for its youth programs.
