ViBO Music School

ViBO Music School offers private lessons and semi-private lessons in piano, drums, guitar, violin, voice, flute, and more. It also offers the Students Showcase Recital, Achievement Recital, special event performances, Guitar Workshop for Beginners, Piano Workshop for Beginners, Violin Workshop for Beginners, Ukulele Workshop for Beginners, Early Childhood Music Class, ViBO Rock Bands, and ViBO Chamber Orchestra.

• Students Showcase Recital — Annually in the fall · All students are encouraged to participate.
• Achievement Recital — Twice a year · For students following the ViBO Standards and achieving a certain skill level.
• Special events performances — Performance opportunities for local events, talent shows, senior centers, street fairs and more.
• Guitar Workshop for Beginners — kids with little to no prior experience · 12-1pm · $420 · 14 weeks. Beginner guitar course.
• Piano Workshop for Beginners — young music enthusiasts · 12-1pm · $420 · 14 weeks. Beginner piano course.
• Violin Workshop for Beginners — total beginners · $240 · 8 weeks.
• Ukulele Workshop for Beginners — kids of all skill levels · $240 · 8 weeks.
• Early Childhood Music Class — parents and children · $240 · 8 weeks, 45 mins per class.
• ViBO Rock Bands — Grouped by ages, skill levels and interests · Weekly, 90 min rehearsals · Focus on rock/pop. Performance and recording opportunities available.
• ViBO Chamber Orchestra — Sat 4-5 (beginning); Sat 5-6 (intermediate) · Around 10 members. Casual audition required before joining.

About the provider

ViBO Music School was founded in 2003. The mission statement says, "ViBO Music makes learning music exciting. ViBO believes that music creates community and communities create music." The school regularly hosts open-mics and jam sessions, students perform for local events, festivals and senior centers, and it has hosted an annual youth Battle of the Bands since 2017.

Students should arrive punctually and prepared. Tuition is automatically debited monthly and is not refundable. No rescheduling or credits for missed lessons. Leave of Absence may be granted for spring break and summer vacations with advance notice. Annual registration fee is $45. Valid credit card required on file.
