ViBO Music School

ViBO Music School offers weekly private lessons and semi-private lessons with a set schedule for piano, drums, hand percussions, trumpet, guitar, ukulele, bass, trombone, violin, viola, cello, theory, voice, flute, clarinet, and more. It also offers ViBO Rock Bands with weekly 90-minute rehearsals, ViBO Chamber Orchestra, and workshops for beginners in guitar, piano, violin, and ukulele, plus an Early Childhood Music Class and student recitals.

• Private Lessons — Weekly with a set schedule · $55–$77 per class · Private and semi-private lessons for piano, drums, hand percussions, trumpet, guitar, ukulele, bass, trombone, violin, viola, cello, theory, voice, flute, clarinet and more.
• Semi-Private Lessons — Weekly with a set schedule · $40–$55 per class · Form your own group. Private and semi-private lessons for many instruments.
• Students Showcase Recital — Held annually in the fall

• Guitar Workshop for Beginners — 12-1pm · $420 · For kids with little to no prior experience with the guitar. Length: 14 weeks. Location: San Bruno.
• Piano Workshop for Beginners — 12-1pm · $420 · Designed specially for young music enthusiasts. Length: 14 weeks. Location: San Bruno.
• Violin Workshop for Beginners — $240 · For total beginners. Length: 8 weeks. Location: San Bruno.
• Ukulele Workshop for Beginners — $240 · Fun and engaging ukulele classes. No prior musical experience is necessary. Length: 8 weeks. Location: San Bruno.
• Early Childhood Music Class — $240 · A fun, active music class for parents and children. Length: 8 weeks, 45 mins per class. Location: San Bruno.
• ViBO Rock Bands — Weekly 90 min rehearsals · Grouped by ages, skill levels and interests. Focus on rock/pop. Performance opportunities at student showcases and community events.
• ViBO Chamber Orchestra — Sat 4-5 (beginning); Sat 5-6 (intermediate) · Small group around 10 members. Casual audition required before joining.

About the provider

ViBO Music School was founded in 2003. Its mission statement says, "ViBO Music makes learning music exciting." The school regularly hosts open-mics and jam sessions, and students perform at local events, festivals, and senior centers. It has also hosted an annual youth Battle of the Bands since 2017.
