Kamparama

Kamparama offers summer camp days that include time for play, exploration, and friendship, with options for creative, STEM, and movement activities available to campers. Campers have access to a reading sofa and an indoor fort when they want to relax in air-conditioned rooms. Each camper receives a Kamparama T-shirt as part of the program.

Kamparama has been serving San Carlos and Belmont families since 1982. The program is housed in a fully licensed care program, with license numbers 410509433, 410504156, 414001029, and 410517836 for its different sites. Kamparama is housed in a fully licensed care program with professional full-time staff, and most staff have been with the program for at least 5 years, with many having 15 years or more of experience there. Each Kamparama location has its own Camp Manager, and every day there is at least one Camp Director on site. All Camp Managers have advanced training, and they supervise staff and children and handle day-to-day operations of the camp.

Kamparama is a summer camp open to all children ages 4.5 to 11 years old. The program provides lunch four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), a daily afternoon snack, and visits from the Ice Cream Man every water day. There is an inflatable water slide on Fridays. Families can arrive at Kamparama any time between 7:30am and 6:00pm, and there are no extra fees for afternoon care. The program offers a 20% sibling discount. Kamparama follows health and safety guidance including masks, social distancing protocols, and enhanced cleaning protocols.
