United Studios of Self Defense San Carlos offers self-defense classes, Tai Chi, Functional Movement lessons, and instruction in the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education. The Feldenkrais Method is included in all self-defense and Tai Chi classes, and Functional Movement lessons can be requested on an individual basis. Students may schedule private lessons to fit their schedules and may enroll for one month up to four years at a time.

United Studios of Self Defense San Carlos is led by Andrew Stebbins. He graduated from Evergreen State College with a focus on movement education and continued developing his skills through Feldenkrais training, Chen style taiji, and multiple body manipulation systems. The program uses the United Studios of Self Defense Martial Arts System and professional Black Belt instructors, and the teaching skills of all United Studios of Self Defense Black Belt instructors are continually upgraded.
