Art for Heart is led by Prachi Raheja, the founder and artist behind Art for Heart. The program’s mission is to teach art while instilling a lifelong love for creativity, resilience, and continuous learning through a growth mindset-focused approach that encourages young minds to believe in their limitless potential. Art for Heart offers art programs for all ages and skill levels, welcomes children as young as 4, and also welcomes adults of all ages, with kids’ art classes designed for young creatives aged 4 and above. The studio atmosphere is described as cozy, inspiring, calm, engaging, warm, fun, relaxed, and creative, with a mindful, calming, stress-relieving space where students can slow down, express themselves, and take home artwork as a special memory. The program emphasizes personalized attention, one-on-one guidance tailored to each student, and a space where there is no one-size-fits-all approach and each student’s unique interests and talents are celebrated as they explore their own artistic interests at their own pace. Art for Heart also offers art classes online.
Art for Heart participates in nationwide art competitions, and Art for Heart students win national recognition. Art For Heart is recognized at the national level with an Art Achievement Award for “EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH MERIT” student artwork submissions in a national art contest, including multiple HIGH MERIT Awards in K–3rd and 4th–6th grades, TOP TEN Awards in K–3rd grade, and NATIONAL PUBLICATION honors.
Parents and students describe their experiences in several ways. One parent shared that Prachi hosted a private pour-painting session for a birthday, noting the beautiful studio, clear guidance, warmth, and flexible scheduling, and highly recommended her for an art party. Another parent said their kids get to try different media and techniques and that they love all the art exploration. A third parent described Prachi as an exceptional art teacher with a rare gift for connecting with each child’s unique interests and abilities, highlighting her patience, creativity, and guidance, and noting that their 8-year-old looks forward to the warm, inspiring studio each week. An adult student’s family member shared that their father, who had never painted before, has started making what they describe as amazing art under Ms. Prachi’s guidance, and described her as very knowledgeable, patient, and an incredible teacher.
