Prodigy Dance Company offers dance classes and summer dance camps that include styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, ballroom, combo fusion, Kindercombo, toddler classes, acrobatics, pointe, and ballet repertoire. Students can also take focused sessions in turns/leaps, stretch and strength, ankle strengthening, and selected physical fitness instruction. • Schedule: Season runs from August 21, 2023 to July 27, 2024, with office hours Monday–Thursday 4pm–7pm and Saturday 9am–12pm
• Price: An annual $60 non-refundable registration fee; tuition for 1 session per week is $29.75 ($119 per four-week month), with a 3.5% administrative fee for credit/debit cards, no fee for ACH, a $25 late fee for tuition not paid by the 25th of the month, a $35 fee for declined/returned payments, and a $35 drop-in rate for make-up classes after the 2-week period
PDC students receive training from select instructors with extensive dance backgrounds and/or academic dance degrees. The stated mission is to provide the best possible dance instruction in a supportive and safe environment and to view dance as art that inspires education, confidence, creativity, and individual growth. The studio notes that it offers instruction in more dance genres than any other studio in the region, provides both competitive and non-competitive dance, and maintains an online store for Prodigy Dance-approved apparel.
