The Artist Lab San Diego offers fine art techniques that include drawing, painting, miniature design, story-based art projects, and foundational drawing and painting techniques. Students work with perspective, proportion, and color blending, build technical drawing and painting skills, and experiment with acrylic, gouache, ink, collage, and other mediums. Classes also include digital art and illustration using Procreate on iPads, composition, realism, portfolio building, and training and mentorship for local and national art competitions, along with sculpting, 3D design, and adult art classes.

The Artist Lab San Diego is taught by professional Fine Art educators from renowned art schools. The studio introduces students to tempera, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, oil paints, pastels, graphite, charcoal, ink and pen, markers, and more, and provides all art materials for students. Offerings include a Digital Workshop using Procreate on iPads, a Competition Class for local and national art competitions, a Clay Workshop with monthly hands-on sessions in sculpting and 3D design, and Adult Art Classes in a relaxed setting. The mission of The Artist Lab San Diego is to give children the means of expression and creativity throughout their lives and to build future generations of creative, conscious, and compassionate artists who can understand diverse expressions and build sustaining art worlds.
