West Coast Dance Complex

West Coast Dance Complex offers Ballet Academy, Youth Division, Competition Teams, Adult Program, Acro, Acting, Ballet, Character, Combo Classes for ages 5 and under, Contemporary, Contemporary Ballet, and Hip Hop. The program’s Ballet classes are offered in Youth Division, Ballet Academy, and for adult students, and the Adult Program includes classes on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:30 AM plus a private Pointe lesson from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

• Adult Program — Mondays & Fridays 10:00-11:30 AM; Pointe (Private Lesson) 11:30 AM-12:00 PM · Adult Ballet Program for dancers of all levels.
• Acro — Fundamental acrobatic technique, including tumbling skills such as aerials, handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks.
• Acting — Focuses on basic tools for acting, including stage, TV, commercial, drama, comedy, auditioning, and improv.
• Ballet — Classical ballet technique class offered in Youth Division, Ballet Academy, and for adult students.
• Character — Introduces students to regional styles of dance and develops rhythm, knowledge of European dance styles, and performance quality.
• Combo Classes (5 & Under) — 5 & Under · Introductory class for young dancers to learn the basics of Ballet, Tap or Jazz.
• Contemporary — Expressive dance style combining elements of classical ballet, modern, lyrical, and jazz.
• Contemporary Ballet — Combines classical ballet vocabulary and techniques with individualized movement expression, creative interpretation of choreography, and intuitive movement systems.
• Hip Hop — High energy class teaching rhythm, coordination, and athleticism through age-appropriate movements set to upbeat music.

West Coast Dance Complex is a student-focused studio. Its mission states that it provides a place to dance for the Carmel Valley, San Diego community and says the studio believes the goal of dance training should be to become a better version of yourself.

• One Week Free Trial Program — Available starting August 17th, 2026 to May 22nd, 2027.

All students must create an account, add a valid payment method, and sign studio waivers prior to participating. Ballet Academy enrollment is by audition only. Ballet Academy requires commitment for the entire season. Youth Division has no commitment required and tuition runs month to month. Written withdrawal form is required 15 days prior to the next scheduled tuition payment date to cancel enrollment. Class cards are non-transferable and non-refundable and valid for 6 months from purchase date.
