Gills Club at Aquarium of the Bay is a FREE, hands-on STEM program that focuses on sharks. The program includes hands-on STEM activities designed to spark curiosity about sharks and inspire confidence in science. Aquarium of the Bay provides approximately 600,000 guests a year with encounters with over 20,000 local marine animals.

Aquarium of the Bay is proudly celebrating its 30th Anniversary. The Aquarium of the Bay’s non-profit mission is to protect, restore, and inspire conservation of San Francisco Bay and its watershed, from Sierra to the Sea™. The leadership team includes Dan Ashley, a journalist and longtime anchor at ABC7 News, who serves on the Board of Directors at Aquarium of the Bay. Aquarium of the Bay partners with Yale School of the Environment. Visiting Aquarium of the Bay at PIER 39 offers access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options at PIER 39.
