Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA Camps

Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA Camps offers dynamic, age-appropriate training sessions that cover ball control, dribbling, passing, attacking, shooting, defense, and coordination. Camp days include game-like situations such as small-sided and full-sided games, work on field spacing and positioning, games played to the width, attacking and defending transitions, counter-attacking strategies, and prolonged possession sequences. Players also work on set pieces (direct and indirect), functional shooting, passing and crossing into finishing opportunities, first touch into space with shooting, and shooting under pressure, including duels in formats such as 1v1, 2v1, 3v2, and 4v3.

Morning sessions focus on drills based on a specific topic, and afternoon sessions focus on game-like situations applying the topic of the day. The daily schedule runs from greeting and stimulation exercises, through three training sessions, a lunch break, matches, and a debrief with Paris Saint-Germain Academy head coaches. On the first day, check-in opens 30 minutes before camp starts, and training groups are created based on age, level, skill, and ability. All players must wear the official Paris Saint-Germain Academy USA camp uniform kit while camp is in session, and the PSG kit can be purchased during registration. Families are instructed to pack cleats, shin guards, water, sunscreen, and a lunch box or snacks in a cooler, as lunch is not provided.

Camp highlights include immersion in the Paris Saint-Germain environment and training through official Paris Saint-Germain training programs and methodology, as well as learning Paris Saint-Germain values and philosophy of the game: fair play, respect, and commitment, while having fun. An awards ceremony led by official Paris Saint-Germain Academy coaches is held on the last day of the camp week, where players receive a Paris Saint-Germain Academy Diploma. According to the program facts, the best players during the week get the opportunity to travel to Paris to attend one of the exclusive Paris Clinics, and MVPs from each camp are selected for the chance to participate in unique soccer opportunities hosted by Paris Saint-Germain in Paris as part of a Selected Elite Soccer Players event. The program states that this event provides the Paris Saint-Germain pro player experience and allows players to play at the top of their game.
