Matt Leinart Flag Football offers flag football through Spring League, Summer League, and Summer Camp. The program includes games under the lights and emphasizes a positive, fast-paced environment for boys and girls in grades K–8 to learn the game, play with friends, and fall in love with football. It promotes a competitive, confidence-building, non-contact football experience with a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building.

The Matt Leinart Flag Football League was founded in Newport Beach in 2010 by Matt Leinart, who is the league’s founder and namesake. The goal of the league is to provide a fun league for kids to be involved in, while also developing and furthering their football skills. The league is in conjunction with the NFL Flag Football program and is described as one of the premier youth flag football leagues in the country. The league is presented as the perfect entry point for young athletes of all experience levels, with an emphasis on community fun.
