Magic Steps Studios offers Magic Steps Music caregiver & me music classes that are described as hip shaking, head bopping, interactive and educational music classes for infants to preschoolers with their caregivers. Classes use original songs and include activities that focus on gardening, composting, healthy food preparation, animal care, farm to school programs, seasonal camps, and holiday events on the farm. The program includes interactive and educational music classes that use original music in every session and offers unlimited classes for the length of each session.
• Ages: 18 months–12 years old
• Schedule: 10-week winter sessions, 9-week spring sessions, monthly Farm To School classes, and monthly caregiver & me classes; spring, summer, and winter break camps
The mission of Magic Steps Studios states that the program believes children learn best in a hands-on learning environment and that music is the program’s focus for supporting children’s social, emotional, and fine motor development. The leadership team includes Ms. Brooke as Owner, Magic Steps Music Teacher, and Farm School OC Teacher; Mr. Robinson/Mr. Brooks as a Magic Steps Music Teacher; and Ms. Jennifer as Operations Manager. Ms. Brooke has been teaching children music for over 14 years, and Mr. Robinson has an extensive background teaching music to children, leads the music at his church, and offers private music lessons to older kids every afternoon. The program notes that animals and farming are at the heart of Farm School OC programs and that Farm School OC offers a unique, hands-on learning experience with daily lessons in gardening, composting, healthy food preparation, animal care, and compassion.
