Kennel Boxing Youth & Teen Boxing Program is part of the Kennel Boxing gym’s Youth & Teen Boxing offerings, where participants train in boxing alongside other options at the gym such as Adult Beginner Boxing, Intermediate Boxing, Advanced Boxing, Strength & Conditioning, Personal Training, and sparring. The program takes place in a gym that includes a free weights zone, heavy bag training zone, cardio and endurance zone, strength and powerlifting zone, and a boxing and sparring zone.

Kennel Boxing was opened in 2009 by Head Coach and Owner Coach Arvin, together with brothers Arvin, Brian, and Diovanne Jugarap and their uncle Nonito Donaire Sr., in partnership with Oula Jugarap, Emily Smith, and Jorge Vargas. The leadership team includes Coach Dennis as Teen & Adults Boxing Coach, Coach Gerald as Strength & Conditioning Coach, Coach B as Teens Beginner Coach, and professional boxer Damoni Cato-Cain. Coach Arvin is a licensed pro and amateur coach; Coach Dennis is a USA Boxing Certified Coach with over a decade as a certified coach; Coach Gerald is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Nutrition Coach, as well as a Rehabilitation Services Trainer specializing in recovery and injury prevention; Coach B is a USA Boxing Certified Coach.

Under Coach Arvin’s guidance, Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton won the IBA Super Bantamweight World Title in September 2009, and Coach Gerald was the 2017 California Golden Gloves Heavyweight Novice Champion. Kennel Boxing has an EXCELLENT rating based on 57 reviews. The gym offers a free trial boxing class, open sparring for all levels with feedback, and “Battle at the Kennel” competition events, and it runs corporate and youth programs and community workshops.
