About
MAESH Striking Arts offers training in Japanese Kempo, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the MAESH Striking Arts training Academy. The program focuses on technical strikes in the science of eight limbs, including angled offensive strikes, counter-punch techniques, and 10 points of sparring, along with conditioning and sparring sessions.
• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Friday with morning and evening hours, plus weekend classes on Saturday and Sunday.
Established in 2009, MAESH Striking Arts states that its mission is to provide high level training and service in an ego-less friendly environment and to mold students in developing character both in and out of the ring from non-competitive and competitive levels. Trainers and instructors specialize in Japanese Kempo, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and they teach the fundamentals of striking whether a student is a competitor or an enthusiast. Each instructor has trained and prepared for many competitions by coordinating training times, sparring sessions, strength and conditioning drills, plyometric exercises, pre-fight preparation, and post fight support. The academy describes itself as offering a family environment, with students that include stay-home fathers, female weekend warriors, high school and collegiate athletes, and amateur and professional fighters, and notes that its focus on foundation has allowed it to raise students from scratch to Champion caliber levels. The academy is known for technical instruction, and prospective students who are willing to learn the proper way of striking are welcome.
