CreArt Early Education & Preschool

CreArt Early Education & Preschool offers a play-based program where children take part in painting, art, reading books, flannel board stories, show and tell, and discussions about different subjects. Daily activities also include dramatic play with puppets and dress up clothes, building with blocks, playing games, group activities, outdoor play, large muscle play on an outside area and playground, gardening, and cooking. Children are introduced to foreign languages through books, songs, and puppet play, explore science with books, toys, and materials, and engage in music activities using activity tapes or CDs, while math is taught through the “Growing with Math” curriculum along with counting how many crackers were eaten at snack time, identifying shapes, measuring, sorting, and making comparisons.

CreArt Early Education & Preschool is a licensed child care center (LIC#214005364/214005365) with indoor and outdoor play space, an outside area and playground, and gardening areas where everything grown at school is used for children’s snacks or shared with them to take home. The program offers year-round, full childcare services and exemplary educational opportunities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, with a focus on early childhood development, including social and emotional development, and on building a strong learning foundation for kindergarten and beyond. The program uses art as a teaching device and emotional outlet and supports and encourages foreign languages through books, songs, and puppet play.
