About
Monterey Bay Academy of Gymnastics Camps & Classes includes gymnastics training on all events along with arts and crafts, fort building, field trips, and tie dye activities. Each camp session runs for 5 days, Monday through Friday, with options for full day (9:00am–3:00pm) or half day (9:00am–12:00pm). Recreational camps are offered for beginners through Level 2, and competition team summer camps are available by invitation only for Levels 2, 3, 4, and Optionals.

• Price: $285 HALF DAY (9:00am-12:00pm); $370 FULL DAY (9:00am-3:00pm); $235 HALF DAY (9:00am-12:00pm) 2026 Gymnastics Summer Camps REC. CAMPS. Cancellation fees: Cancellations made 1 month or more prior to the start of camp: a partial refund will be issued, minus a $50 cancellation fee + 4% credit card processing fee, or the full amount may be transferred with no penalty to a future camp or class, subject to availability. 15-30 days prior to the camp start date: a partial refund will be issued, minus a $100 cancellation fee + 4% credit card processing fee, or the full amount may be transferred with no penalty to a future camp or class, subject to availability. Less than 14 days prior to the camp start date: there will be no transfers, no account credits and no refunds.
Monterey Bay Academy of Gymnastics offers year-round classes with open enrollment for boys and girls ages 18 months to 18 years old, as well as birthday parties for ages 3–8 for both members and non-members. Camps do not allow drop-ins, and there are no makeups or prorated fees for camps, and camp focus and age groups vary by session. Registration for camps opens in March 2026, and each day gymnasts are expected to bring an extra-large water bottle, two snacks, and one lunch. On Monday, gymnasts bring an old white piece of clothing, preferably 100% cotton, for tie dye, and on Tuesday they bring items such as sunscreen, a towel, a change of clothes or leotard, walking or beach shoes, and easily carried beach toys for a field trip to a local park or beach.
Monterey Bay Academy of Gymnastics has been serving local and military families since 1964 and is owned by Jessica Rodriguez. The program has received the KSBW Salute to Small Business award for best woman-owned business in Monterey County, and states the mission, “Welcome to Monterey Bay Academy of Gymnastics, where every child is a champion!”
