River Way Ranch Camp offers activities that include culinary arts, horseback riding, a ropes challenge course, film production, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, waterskiing, waverunners, and sports of all kinds. Campers can choose from a list of activity options that now tops 75, with age-progressive programs that change as campers get older. Rancheros and Seniors pick their schedule, while the youngest campers, the Buckaroos, travel as a cabin to pre-scheduled activities selected for them.

Summer after summer for fifty-nine years, River Way Ranch Camp has provided outdoor experiences and innovative learning opportunities for children ages 7–16. The camp groups participants as Buckaroos ages 7–9, Rancheros ages 10–12, Seniors ages 13–16, and Counselors-in-Training ages 15–17, with a Teen Leadership Program (CIT program) specifically for ages 15–17. River Way’s CIT program has established a reputation for being one of the finest counselor training programs in California. River Way Ranch Camp maintains a year-round management staff that is trained to answer questions about attending summer camp.
Parent and camper comments include: “Our son had a wonderful time at River Way and told us he would have stayed longer!
