Santa Clara Youth Tennis & Activity Camps offers tennis, table tennis, chess, and pickleball. Camp options include Little Tennis & Rallyers, Youth Improvement Tennis Camp, Junior Development Tennis Camp, Pickleball Camp, and an All Day Tennis & Activities camp that combines tennis with other games. Little Tennis & Rallyers Camp uses specially designed mini tennis nets, rackets, and low-bouncing balls, and includes work on forehands, backhands, serves, and coordination and motor skills such as balancing, overhand throwing, catching, and shuffling. In this camp, no prior experience is necessary.
Pickleball Camp introduces players to pickleball through drills, games, and friendly competition, covering serving, rallying, positioning, and scoring. Players in Pickleball Camp are grouped by age and ability, and no prior experience is required.
The Youth Improvement Tennis Camp is for beginner to intermediate players and is described as a confidence builder for students who want to jump-start their game. Students in this camp are evaluated on the first day and then grouped by age and ability, and no previous tennis experience is required.
The Junior Development Tennis Camp is for players who want to push their tennis game further and already have the ability to rally, serve consistently, and play a match. This camp uses fast-paced drills and games, and previous tennis experience is required.
The All Day Tennis & Activities camp combines tennis with chess, pickleball, and table tennis, with tennis in the morning and other games in the afternoon, and is described as a mix of sports and strategy for kids of all skill levels. The program offers year-round school break camps for youth ages 4–15, and morning tennis camps are available for players of all levels.
