About
Studio Sprout offers art projects through art classes, art and garden classes, camps, workshops, and birthday parties. The program also provides video tutorials and printable lesson plans through an online Lesson Library, with projects that combine guided instruction with open-ended creativity and avoid cookie-cutter projects. Projects integrate the Elements of Art, STEAM, SEL, diverse artists, animal art, and more, and are organized in a kid-safe, ad-free video hub where they are categorized by medium, age, time needed, and topic.

Studio Sprout is led by Rebecca, an art educator with a background in youth empowerment who describes herself as a mama, teacher, artist, and community-builder. Teaching art to thousands of students over the course of 25 years is the basis for Studio Sprout’s mission statement about the power of art to connect children to themselves and the world around them, to give children a strong art foundation, to engage them with topics they care about, and to boost their confidence for life. Studio Sprout describes its programs as rooted in process, creativity, hands-on exploration, and meaningful art experiences, and notes that membership unlocks easy-to-use video tutorials and lesson plans with well-organized categories, clear instructions, and cross-curricular themes. Studio Sprout is described as both an in-person children’s art studio and an online Lesson Library that is growing into a community of kids, grown-ups, and creators who believe in the power of art.
One parent and teacher testimonial states that Studio Sprout has saved her time and energy by giving her video library access to choose art projects for her students and follow step-by-step guidance from an art expert.
