Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles offers orchestral training and performance opportunities for young musicians. Participants rehearse and prepare music for public performance as part of the youth ensembles. Youth Ensemble concerts are listed on the EVENTS page under the category “Youth Ensembles.”

The mission of Santa Rosa Symphony Youth Ensembles is to offer young musicians an exceptional educational experience by providing orchestral training and performance opportunities in Sonoma County. The program’s stated goal is for young musicians to develop an awareness and appreciation of great music in the context of learning responsibility and teamwork, while they participate in the community through public performance. Students can begin instruments as young as five years old at the Summer Music Academy, and they can remain in training programs into their first years of college. Students participate in the community through public performance.
